Thank God, Grace Reigns - Romans 5:12-25

 Christ gives us far more than we lost in Adam.

 

The LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it. And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, "You may surely eat of every tree of the garden, but of the tree of the 
knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die." Genesis 2:15-17

 

"The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy - the Son of God." 
Luke 1:35

 

Yes, people sinned even before the law was given. But it was not counted as sin because there was not yet any law to break. Still, everyone died -from the time of Adam to the time of Moses - even those 
who did not disobey an explicit commandment of God, as Adam did. 
Romans 5:13-14 NLT

 

15 But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if many died through one man's trespass, much more have the grace of God and the free gift by the grace of that one man Jesus Christ abounded 
for many. 16 And the free gift is not like the result of that one man's sin. For the judgment following one trespass brought condemnation, but the free gift following many trespasses brought justification. 17 For if, because of one man's trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man 
Jesus Christ.
Romans 5:15-17

 

For as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous. Romans 5:19

 

He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of 
his might. 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9 NIV
