Hold Fast! - Revelation 3:7-13

Transformative Truth: 
Trust the Authority and Power of Jesus Christ to keep you.

1. The first place you must Trust the Authority & Power of Jesus is in Salvation

But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut the kingdom of heaven in people's faces. For you neither enter yourselves nor allow those who would enter to go in. Matthew 23:13

2. The Second Place you must Trust the Authority & Power of Jesus to keep you is on Mission

And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." Matthew 28:18-20

3. The third way we trust the Authority & Power of Jesus is to keep us through the Hour of Trial

I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one. John 17:15

4. The fourth way we trust the Authority & Power of Jesus is to keep us through Eternity

I am coming soon. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown. Revelation 3:11

Rev. 3:12 The one who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God. Never shall he go out of it...

...and I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down from my God out of heaven, and my own new name. Revelation 3:12b

Rev. 3:13 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.'
